The Foundation’s Mission
The Deron School Foundation supports enhancing the social, psychological and educational experiences of its students by providing supplemental educational materials and experiences, while fostering open communication and understanding between parents, caregivers and staff.
DonateThis 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable foundation was created to provide our students with opportunities that are not able to be funded by their normal tuition dollars.
While The Deron School is an approved private school, funded by tuition dollars from districts making an out-of-district placement into our school, so many of the programs and experiences we offer our students require incremental private funding. We also rely on the generosity of corporations, local businesses, foundations, and individuals to supplement programs and services for our students with disabilities and their families.
Additional financial support provides:
- activities for students that would otherwise not be covered by tuition
- staff development
- special project or activity funding
